OXFORD, Ga. - Locals gathered along the streets of Oxford, finding shade where they could, to watch the annual Fourth parade on Thursday, July 4. The annual parade featured handmade floats, live music and candy galore.
Kids held tightly to their plastic bags as they waited for candy to be thrown in the air. Adults greeted members of the parade as they passed by, and sometimes, they were given candy as well. Some lucky animals even received an ear scratch or two from local officials.
