Tim and Lynda Moss of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Kathryn (Kati) Moss to Casey Rider, son of Steve and Vicki Rider of Oxford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Capes of Covington and Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Cotton) Moss of Covington. She is a graduate of Newton County High School and Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She is employed by Pathways Transition Programs.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Bowen of Covington and Mrs. Geraldine Rider and the late Mr. B.F. (Bennie) Rider of Oxford. He is a graduate of Newton County High School and Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education. He is employed by the Newton County School System.

The wedding is planned for April 2 at Covington First United Methodist Church.
