COVINGTON, Ga. — Members of the Covington Woman’s Club met for their annual Holiday Luncheon and Induction Ceremony in the private room at Oxford College’s Dining Hall on Dec. 10.

This year at the induction ceremony, three new leaders emerged to join club President Lindsey Moore in making this current executive board the youngest in club history. All in their 30’s, they represent a new generation of women being called to serve Newton County.

“These women have huge hearts for serving others. I am so excited to link arms with them and continue to make big waves in our community," Moore said.

Moore is in her second year of her two-year term as club president. She is a small business owner, wife to Travis, bonus mom and dog mom.

Vice President Callie Bigham is a wellness entrepreneur and fitness instructor. Married to her husband Jason, she enjoys her blended family of five kids. When she is not with her family, she finds joy in helping others add quality to their life.

Secretary Brooke Few-Ramsey is the Director of Special Education for the Newton County School System. She is a mother of two ball players and spends her free time at the ball field if she’s not advocating for the special needs community in Newton County.

Treasurer Katie Beam is a mortgage loan officer with United Community Bank. She spends her extra time with family and friends along with volunteering for Prevent Child Abuse Rockdale and Newton. She and her husband, Jackie, have a blended family of six.

The Covington Woman’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs.
