Covington Y swimmers had an impressive showing at the recent state GRPA Swimming Championship in Augusta, winning nine of the 11 medals won by the Rockdale County team. The Covington team competes along side the Rockdale County Y swim team. Covington Y team members Drew Ellwanger and Matt Tibbetts were double gold winners, while Jack Mitchell brought home a gold and a bronze.
