Artie Eugene Corley

Artie Eugene Corley of Monroe died Feb. 7 at his residence. The son of the late Art Corley and Beulah Smith Corley, he was born in 1930 in Rockdale County. Mr. Corley lived his entire life in the area and worked for Lithonia Lighting before becoming disabled. He loved to paint model cars and fish and enjoyed keeping aquariums. He was preceded in death by brothers T.C. Corley and Willie Paul Corley and sister Bernice Allen.

Surviving are son Aaron Eugene Corley of Conyers; daughters Karen B. Corley of Covington, Linda Faye Stinchcomb of Porterdale; six stepchildren; brother Otis Corley of Covington; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Feb. 11 at Lawnwood Memorial Park with the Rev. David Harvey officiating.
