Annie Mae Harper, 63, of Newborn, died Nov. 8 at Newton Medical Center. The daughter of the late Amos Ralston and Freida Wade Lance Harper, she was born in Fulton County. Mrs. Harper was the glue that held the family together.

She loved her grandchildren and was an animal lover. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and wife.

Surviving are husband Johnny Lee Harper Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law Renee and Edward Graham, Pam and Steve Bearden, all of Oxford; sons and daughter-in-law John and Danyelle Harper of Covington, Jeff Harper of Kennesaw; grandchildren Chris, Shannon, Jessica, Matt, Kayla, Amber, Big Ashley, Jonathon, John-John, Little Ashley, Shelby, Chasity, Dustin, all of Covington; great-grandchildren Abby, Jayden, Dalton, Conner, all of Covington; sisters and brother-in-law Betty Lou and Billy Peeler of Loganville, JoAnn McCully of Conyers.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Floyd Street chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Kiser officiating.
