Angela Budd Slaughter, 41, of Danville, Va., died March 18 at her residence. Born in 1966 in Danville, she was the daughter of Robert Budd Jr. and Sheron Wann Lipford. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and attended Third Avenue Congregational Christian Church. She was a member of the athletic booster club at Tunstall High School and attended Danville Community College. She was a sales representative with McCain Printing and was married to Tony Edward Slaughter.
Surviving are husband; parents; daughters Jennifer Grace Slaughter, Taylor Sarah Slaughter, both of Danville; brothers Scott Budd of Dry Fork and Scott Lipford of Danville; paternal grandmother Grace Budd Spradley of Covington.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, March 21, at Norris Services Chapel, Danville, with the Rev. Freddy Vicks and the Rev. Ronnie Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Danville Cancer Association, 2323 Riverside Dr., Danville, VA 24540.
