While many Newton County residents may be shaking off the remaining disappointment behind the conclusion of the local basketball season, all of your chances to win in basketball are not over.

That’s right. You’ve got a chance to win in two ways during our The Covington News NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge which officially launches Sunday evening after the NCAA Tournament’s Selection Sunday show. You can win by proving you can predict a better bracket than me, your lovable sports editor – which probably won’t be that tough of a challenge.

Or, you can enter your bracket for a chance to win $1,000,000.

Here’s how you can do it: Go to our website’s home page and click on the BRACKET CHALLENGE link to sign up, then fill out your bracket. You can win $1,000,000 for a perfect bracket!

You can also stop in to The Covington News office at 1166 Usher Street in Covington to pick up a hard copy of the bracket.

All brackets must be submitted before Thursday March 16 at 12 p.m.
