PREP FOOTBALL RANKINGS: Eastside debuts in Class AAAA poll, Newton gets votes in AAAAAAA

COVINGTON, Ga. -- Thanks to a dominating performance against Ola Friday night in a 42-17 win, the Eastside Eagles find themselves among the company of the top 10 programs in the state in Class AAAA, according to this week's Georgia Sportswriters Association Poll. 


Newton garnered two points in the Class AAAAAAA poll after defeating Alcovy 37-3 in a weather-shortened game Friday night.
