FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- You know it's getting close to football season when the Atlanta Falcons are taking the field for training camp up in its Flowery Branch facility. The Falcons, perhaps still smarting a bit from its Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots back in February, have opened camp -- which began Thursday -- looking fast, physical and focused. And as it happens each year, fans came from across Georgia to get an early glimpse at the progress of the Falcons' veterans, as well as the potential of roster newcomers.
