Time To Be Born:

Reverend Ruby Mae Mathis Mills was born February 28, 1942, to the Late Mr. & Mrs. Charlie (Annie Maude) Mathis who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Sue Peters, and Margie Hope, and one son, Andre M. Mathis.

Time For Purpose:

Ruby accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined New Enon Baptist Church at an early age, where she served to the day she was called home to be with the Lord. Ruby was also a member of GCMBA Lodge 37, of Madison, Georgia and Sisters Helping Sisters Ministry  also of Madison, Georgia.

Time For Work:

As Ruby's faith grew so did she, starting to spread the Gospel to everyone she met. Ruby was ordained in the ministry on June 2, 2007 , she was involved in many activities such as working with the Senior Citizens, forming the Senior Citizens Choir, and Senior Citizens bus driver (Taking them to and from activities and events). She worked with Senior Citizens for sixteen years, and was the  assistant director of the Morgan County Senior Citizens Center. Her enthusiasm for the bible and teaching his word, telling all that God is real and he's the one you can count on to give you joy, a piece of mind, and expressing that whatever you need, he will supply. Her favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 3:16. Ruby loved cooking, caring for her children, and singing. Ruby was at her best whenever she was singing for the Lord.

Time For Love:

Ruby leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Mr. & Mrs. Eddie (Odessa) Mathis, Madison, Georgia, Mr. &  Evangelist Charles  (Rosalind) Lester, Athens, Georgia, Mrs. Patricia Mathis, Madison, Georgia, Elder & Evangelist Willie (Angela) Jones, Columbia, South Carolina, Deacon & Deaconess Frederick (Balinda) Mills, Covington, Georgia, and Ms. Salema Mills,  Madison, Georgia who also was her caregiver, daughter, and friend, you name it Salema did it all! Brothers and Sisters; Deacon & Deaconess Charlie (Melinda) Mathis,  Godfrey, Georgia, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby (Elvelyn) Mathis, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. & Mrs. Benny (Lois) Mathis, Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Annie Ruth, Madison, Georgia, Ms. Thelma Alexander, North Carolina, Mr. & Mrs. John (Willie Ann) Mathis, Madison, Georgia, twenty grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
