Willie Dene Payne, age 83, of Mansfield, passed away June 16, 2014. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her yard.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Payne of Mansfield, Earl Payne of Covington, Rick Payne of McDonough, Sandy Peterman and her husband, Trent, of Loganville, Kerry Payne of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Capes of Newborn, Jerry and Penny Capes of Conyers; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Payne will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street in Covington, with interment following in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 19, from 6 – 8 p.m.
