Mr. Larry Elliott, age 78, of Conyers passed away May 19, 2011 at Rockdale Medical Center.  He was born January 9, 1933 to the late Bryan and Ruth Ray Elliott in Covington, Georgia and was a longtime resident of the Conyers area.  Mr. Elliott loved to play the piano, enjoyed playing Rook and vacationing with his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Joyce Elliott.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his children and their spouses; Lori Pattillo of McDonough, Darryl and Kit Elliott of Conyers and Mitch and Mathea Elliott of Covington.  He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Jim Hope, brother, Mr. Charles Elliott and  his grandchildren; Bryan, Becky, Tegan, Tara, Max and Hayley.

Funeral service for Mr. Elliott will be held at 11o’clock Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Chapel of Harwell Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Stubbs officiating.  Interment will follow at Newborn Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm, Friday, May 20, 2011.  Harwell Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 2157 East Street SE, Covington, GA 30014, is in charge of arrangements. www.harwellfuneralhome.com
