Mr. Frank “Willie” Clark, 82, of Covington passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019.  He was born June 21, 1936 in Lowder, Illinois to Frank and Mary Alta Nance Clark who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Clark grew up farming in Illinois and was a 1954 graduate of Waverly High School in Waverly, IL.  He moved to Covington in 1967 and continued his career with Mobil Chemical where he retired in 1992.  Mr. Clark enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, John Wayne movies, gardening, and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Jo Clark, his brothers Lawrence Clark, Raymond Clark, and Willis “Zip” Clark and his sister Florence Martin.

Mr. Clark is survived by his daughters Patty McWaters, of Monroe, Tracey Clark, and Susan Clark, both of Covington, his brother Russ Clark (Mary), of Jacksonville, Illinois, his sister Pam Wallis (Virgil), of White Hall, Illinois, brother-in-law Kasse Newberry (Loni), of Modesto, Illinois, his grandchildren Charity McWaters, and Cristin Myers (Billy) his great-grandchildren Will Myers and Avery Jo Myers along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

Memorial services for Mr. Clark were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home. The family received friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
