On November 30, 1936 Ms. Martha Jennings was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie (Ellen) Jennings. Born in Newton County, Georgia. She was one of seven children.
She attended Newton County Public Schools, she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age. Where she later joined the Nurse's Guild, and the Eastern Stars.
On January 21, 1958, she married Mr. Alvin Vaughn who preceded her in death in 2006. Martha was a loving person. Later she became a homemaker, she loved cooking, baking cakes, sewing, fishing, laughing and enjoying her family.
On September 21, 2013, Jesus whispered "Come Home my Child", You shall wear a crown and walk around Heaven.
She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters; Ms. Dora Durham and Ms. Deborah Duncan, one son; Mr. & Mrs. Alvin "Larry" (Amanda) Vaughn, three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three sisters; Ms. Hattie Rooks, Ms. Ophelia White and Mr. & Mrs. Charles (Mary) Peters, three sisters-in-laws, a very special and devoted brother-in-law; Mr. Howard Vaughn, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
