Mr. Kas Kusmider, age 65, of Loganville passed away January 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Germany on January 30, 1948 to the late Boleslaw and Sophie Kusmider. Kas served in the United States Army, he worked as a police officer in Minnesota and worked as a truck driver for Brown Trucking in Lithonia. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Conyers.
Mr. Kusmider is survived by his daughter Donna Marie Kusmider of North Carolina, his dear friends and caregivers Herfa Jones of Conyers, Yvonne Palmer of Ellenwood, and Sandra Ferguson of Covington along with the staff at Assured and Associates Caregiver Agency. He is also survived by his brother John Mitchell Kusmider of Daytona Beach, Florida, his sister Mary Christine Kusmider also of Daytona Beach and many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Kusmider will be held at 4 o’clock, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home. There will be a gathering of friends from 3:00pm until 4:00pm prior to the service. J.C.
