James A. (Jimmy) Hill of Newborn, passed away April 7, 2010, at the age of 53. Mr. Hill was a resident of Jasper County since 1981, and owner and operator of H&H Machine Shop for 24 years. He was an avid sportsman and an accomplished salt water fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, deer and turkey hunting. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Dell (Reagin) Hill; and sister, Wanda Sullens. Survivors include his wife, Roynda Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Jamie A. and Barbara Hill, all of Newborn; grandchildren, Sabrina M. Hill, Andrew J. Hill; father, John A. Hill of Lithonia; sisters, Louan Christian of Conyers, Jonel Wilson of Lithonia, Freida Long of Dacula; brother, Frank A. Hill of Newborn; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Hill were held Saturday, April 10, 2010, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., with Bro. Steve Hall officiating, and interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
