H.T. Maddox, 81, of Loganville, passed away Nov. 18. .Mr. Maddox was a World War II United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a member of the Gum Creek Golden Club.

He is survived by his wife Martha Maddox; children Cathy Maddox Hill and Teri Maddox Melton, both of Covington, Mark Randall Maddox of Loganville, Teresa Maddox Knight of Colbert; brother Andrew Harrison Maddox of Atlanta; step-children Debbie Lovelady of Athens, Kim Wages of Winder, Allen Dial and Penny Manning, both of Oxford, Jeff Plotts of Arizona; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Waters officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Baptist Church, P.O. Box 641, Monroe, Ga. 30655. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 20, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 823 E. Spring St., Monroe.
