Dennis Spencer Seagraves, 52, of Covington, died on July 5. The son of Mary Frances Harden Seagraves and the late Clifford Edward Seagraves, Spencer was born in Birmingham, Ala., in 1958.

Surviving are mother Mary Frances Seagraves of Social Circle; wife Carolyn Dee Seagraves of Covington; daughters and son-in-law Melissa Marie and Thomas Newman of Covington, Sierra Morgan Seagraves of Covington; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and James Kimler of Gray; brothers and sister-in-law Clint and Sherrie Seagraves of Social Circle, Cliff Seagraves of Monroe, Larry Seagraves of Winder; grandson Jacob Thomas Newman; several nieces and nephews.
