Damon Card, 22 of Savannah and Jackson, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, in Savannah. He was born in Decatur to Daniel and Pamela Card. Damon graduated from Jackson High School in 2012 where he played football, baseball, basketball, wrestling and track. He enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting drawing and was a member of the band Half Life. Damon especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Denton and Sybil Card.

Damon is survived by his parents Danny and Pam Card of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Devin Lane of Jackson; maternal grandparents Buster and Martha Schwartzwalder of Doraville; uncles Thomas Schwartzwalder, Frankie Schwartzwalder, Michael Card, Teddy Card, Chris Card; close cousin Jason Schwartzwalder; niece Kaelyn Lane of Jackson; aunt Diane Suter and girlfriend Alexa Osbourne of Savannah and Jackson.

A celebration of life was held Friday, February 5, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home and Crematory, 11405 Brown Bridge Rd., Covington, GA. 30016 770-786-7111.
