Betty Lee Parker, Covington, died April 25 at Abbey Hospice. The daughter of the late Albert Lee and Jesse Maude Huddleston Parr, she was born in 1934 in Atlanta. Mrs. Parker enjoyed crafts, word puzzles and reading and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Parker and son Tony Parker.
Surviving are daughter Penny Parker of Covington; son Raymond Parker of Stockbridge; grandchildren Corey Parker, Russell Parker, Waylon Parker, Deanna Parker; great-grandchildren Suzy, Austin, Hunter, Peyton, Braeden and Bo; sisters Marie King of Jackson, Regina Johnson of Locust Grove.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. April 29 at Joshua's Place with the Rev. Rick Moncrief and the Rev. Andy Parker officiating. Interment will be at Stewart Baptist Church Cemetery. Those who wish may sign the on-line registry at www.sherrellfh.com.
