It has come to our attention that an individual calling herself "Debbie" is conducting a scam by obtaining credit card numbers from people over the phone who think they are subscribing to The Covington News.

Please do not give your credit card number over the phone to anyone claiming to be a News employee unless you call our phone number, (770) 787-6397.

If you receive a suspicious phone call from someone soliciting subscriptions to The News, please call the police immediately.
