Strawberry festival celebrates seasonal fruit at Mitcham Farm

Strawberry season is just beginning and it will be celebrated at the Mitcham Farm Strawberry Festival, Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The festival features u-pick strawberries, pre-picked strawberries and other specialty food items for sale, craft vendors, food concessions, live music, farm animal viewing area, and other family activities.

Strawberry picking will be open while supply lasts. The Country River Band will perform from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the festival is free. U-pick strawberries are $12/gallon and pre-picked strawberries are $14/gallon. Children can have unlimited access to a designated play area for $3 per child.

Mitcham Farm is family-owned and operated for five generations and recognized as a Centennial Farm by the State of Georgia.
