A former Georgia College and State University professor is awaiting court sentence after pleading guilty on Nov. 18 to charges of obscene Internet contact and electronically furnishing obscene materials to a minor. Frank Evans Thompson Jr. was arrested in February following an investigation that began in late-2009. He was initially charged with sexual exploitation of children, electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor and the computer pornography and child exploitation act of 2007.
