Road work projects this week

The following road maintenance and mowing projects are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 17-20, weather permitting:

• Morgan County State Route 24, mile marker 16.8-20.51; single lane closure to seal minor cracks in the roadway

• Morgan County State Route 12, mile marker 0-11; tractor mowing

• Newton County State Route 162, mile marker 10.5-6; tractor mowing

• Newton County State Route 212, mile marker 1-12.5; tractor mowing

• Newton County State Route 20, mile marker 0-3.36; tractor mowing

• Newton County State Route 36, mile marker 3.5-6; tractor mowing.

Flagmen may be used. Motorists are asked to use caution, reduce their speed and be alert to changing traffic conditions in all of the work zones.
