A 15-year-old was robbed at gunpoint late Sunday morning while leaving a store near Morningside Drive.
The teen was reportedly approached by four other juveniles (later found to be 13, 14, 15 and 16-years-old) who demanded his mp3 player. When he refused and began to fight them, one brandished a gun and threatened to shoot him if he didn't give them the mp3 player, so the teen complied.
The victim immediately called 911 and deputies from the Newton County Sheriff's Office responded to the area and set up a perimeter. Investigators were quickly able to apprehend the four teens believed responsible. Although they did not find the mp3 player, they did locate the handgun, according to Deputy Cortney Morrison.
