Newton County's Grace Christian Academy's academic quiz bowl team became international champions for the third time in four years recently at the Accelerated Christian Education International Student Convention in Las Cruses, New Mexico.

Grace Christian Academy also took home 63 medals, including 14 first place medals, in academic and artistic categories.

The school took home the first-place trophy in academics, the first-place trophy in drama, and the second-place trophy in exhibits.
