Making a return to Newborn, Lou Vuto will bring legends to life during two shows at the Old Schoolhouse.

Vuto, a headlining performer in Pigeon Forge, has also performed in Las Vegas and is currently on tour in New Zealand. He will play the show in Newborn School House as Elvis, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and another as several musical legends on Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Both shows are $20, and tickets can be purchased by calling Terry Reynolds at 770-787-8446.

Vuto’s previous two shows in Newborn sold out the 200-seat school house.

This year, his first show will be Elvis-centric. Vuto is renowned for his portrayal of “The King,” and has worked with the late Charlie Hodge, confidant and associate of Elvis. Vuto has also performed with J.D. and the Stamps, and has booked a standing engagement at the Grand Majestic Theater in Piegoen Forge, Tennessee.

“[Vuto] has proven over and over again that his shows are a must see,” said Reynolds’ the show’s promoter. “A talent in his own right, his impressions are tasteful tributes to many of the icons in music that we have all known and loved over the years.”

During his legends show on Oct. 1, Vuto will perform tributes to Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash and Conway Twitty during the first hour, before performing as Elvis for another hour.

Performing with Vuto will be Betty Koopman, who also performs in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
