Supper with Scouts: Cub Pack 1824 held their annual Blue & Gold Banquet Feb. 23 at Covington First United Methodist Church. More than 100 scouts and their guests enjoyed dinner and celebrated 100 years of Scouting. Tiger cubs sang and made posters comparing Scouts in 2010 with Scouts in 1910. Guests enjoyed Cub skits and achievement recognition for each den that attends monthly Pack meetings. Cubs collected almost 100 cans for the Food Pantry of the First United Methodist Church. Paul Green is the cubmaster of Pack 1824, which meets weekly at Covington FUMC.
