Covington will transform into the town of Mystic Falls one last time March 10 for the series finale event of “The Vampire Diaries.”

In a collaboration between Vampire Stalkers, Mystic Falls Tours, Covington/Newton County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Mystic Grill, PAC and other downtown businesses, Covington will say goodbye to the eight-season show in style.

The night will start at 5:45 with Chris Brochu, “Luke” on “The Vampire Diaries” playing an acoustic concert. It will be followed by contests, raffles and a Q&A with some of the stars.

The finale special viewing will start at 7:30 p.m. and the Season 8 Series Finale will start at 8 p.m. The special Mystic Falls viewing will be commercial-free.

Immediately following the viewing, Mercy Mode will be in concert with Chase Coleman, “Oliver” from “The Originals” and Micah Parker, “Adrian” from “The Vampire Diaries.” After the concert, Coleman, Brochu and Parker will be available to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

The event is free to the public and tickets are not required, according to the Mystic Falls Tours website.

Mystic Falls Tours will be offering tours of Mystic Falls throughout the weekend as well as memorabilia from the show and photo opportunities throughout the night.
