William Melvin Ashworth (“Butch”) 1953 – 2010 “Butch” Ashworth entered into eternal rest peacefully on August 17th after a very courageous battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, William Virgil Ashworth and son, Michael Jeremy Ashworth. He is survived by his son, Christopher “Jason” Ashworth of Buckhead; former wife, Joann Ashworth Mitcham of Buckhead; mother and stepfather, Jessie and Robert Runner of Lilburn; sister, Pam Gee and her husband, Thomas of Mansfield; brother, Scott Runner and wife, Athena of San Diego; granddaughter, Ashley Ann Ashworth of Buckhead;
