Mr. William "Junior" Jeffries, 65, of Covington, died Oct. 26 at Newton Medical Center. The son of the late William Dee Sr. and Gaynelle Brannon Jeffries, he was born in Newton County in 1943. He was the owner of Jeffries Machine Company Inc. in Covington for over 35 years.
