With five minutes and 31 seconds left Newton awaited a kickoff with the game tied at 29. It was everything the Rams wanted, until it wasn’t.

On the first play from scrimmage, a Newton fumble was recovered by Etowah and the momentum from there on was with the Eagles.

The Eagles’ offensive line pushed the Rams around for the rest of the game, as they scored two more touchdowns to win 43-29.
