STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) - State regents have approved two new student fees at Georgia Southern University to help pay for an expansion of the school's football stadium and a possible move to a new football division.

WSAV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/TC0Lej) that the University System of Georgia's Board of Regents approved the new student fees at a meeting this week.

The fees will pay for an expansion of Allen E. Paulson Stadium on the Statesboro campus and a potential move to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
