ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons will open the season hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in a Monday night game on Sept. 14.

The Falcons will play another prime-time game on Thursday, Oct. 15 at New Orleans, according to the schedule released on Tuesday night by the NFL.

After the opener against the Eagles, the Falcons will play back-to-back road games at the Giants and Cowboys. That is followed by two straight home games against Houston and Washington.

The Falcons are off in Week 10, following their Nov. 8 game at San Francisco.

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts visit Atlanta on Nov. 22.

The Falcons will close the regular season with two straight home games against NFC South rivals Carolina, on Dec. 27, and New Orleans, on Jan. 3.
