Eastside Baseball came out swinging in its home opener, and defeated Baldwin 12-0 on Tuesday.

Daniel Garrett pitched a complete game, one-hit shutout, racking up nine strikeouts, while issuing just one walk.
Keith Buckhault had three hits, including a double to pace the Eagles.

Cody Walker, Daniel Garrett and Matt Hitcock each added a hit. Another six Eagles reach bas on walks in the five-inning contest.

Eastside opens region play against Stockbridge on Friday.
