American Legion opens shooting range

The American Legion Post 77 has officially opened its newly designed indoor shooting range on the American Legion grounds, the organization announced last week.

American Legion post 77 is now acception members for its Juniror Shooting Club in Conyers. The club will hold an open enrollment for children ages 8-17 years old.

The club aims to provide children with basic firearm knowledge, focusing on safety and responsible firearm handling.

The club plans to help children learn basic marksmanship skills through instruction on .177 caliber air rifles.
Top Junior Shooting Club competitors will represent American Legion Post 77 at compeitions.

American Legion Post 77 plans to schedule one-on-one and family shooting competitions through the club.

The Junior Shooting Club will meet weekly at Post 77. A starting date for the club has yet to be announced.
