Conyers police are looking for the suspect that robbed the Zaxby's on Sigman Road Saturday morning at gunpoint and are offering a cash reward for information leading to his arrest.
Around 7:15 a.m., a young black male entered in through the rear door of Zaxby's located at 429 Sigman Road. The employee opening the store, along with the morning delivery man, were in the process of unloading the delivery truck when the suspect, armed with a silver over black semi automatic handgun, entered through the rear gate and confronted the two victims.
The suspect was wearing a black skull cap, brown bandana over his face, dark shirt, dark long shorts, and black and white shoes, described as possibly being Chuck Taylors. The suspect was also wearing a unique backpack.
After the robbery, the suspect fled the location on foot in the direction of Pizza Hut.
"We are seeking the help of the public in this case," wrote CPD Capt. Scott Freeman. "The clothing and the back pack may be easily recognized by someone. If someone does recognize the clothing or back pack, we urge them to contact us immediately."
The Conyers Police Department is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
