A wrong-way driver suspected of driving drunk caused a head-on collision that sent a mother and her two children to the hospital early Sunday morning.

Authorities arrested Lillian Rolle, 38, of 2060 Lost Forest Lane, Conyers, around 2 a.m. Sunday after responding to an accident on Ga Highway 138 near the intersection of Sigman Road.

According to the police report, witnesses saw Rolle driving southbound in the northbound side of Hwy 138 when she collided with another vehicle travelling north. The driver and two children in the other vehicle were transported to Grady hospital and both vehicles were severely damaged.

The accident report stated Rolle was disoriented, refused treatment at the scene and fell asleep while being transported to the jail. Rolle was arrested and charged with driving on the wrong side of the roadway, driving under the influence, no proof of insurance, cancelled registration plate and bringing marijuana across the guard line.

Jail personnel reported finding a marijuana-like substance in Rolle's pocket while she was being detained.
