One of the greatest gifts you can give Butch is to see to the elimination of smoking and the pervasive cancer that comes with it. Butch’s kindness lives on as his eyes will continue to see through the recipients of his thoughtful donation. Butch is described by his friends and family as thoughtful and caring, creative and hardworking, passionate and strong willed, witty and enthusiastic about everything life had to offer. He was active in sports and was an accomplished welder at B&S Welding. He was an artisan who created many works of art and utility that folks will continue to use for decades, and spent his spare time fishing and collecting rare Indian artifacts. Our sorrow was eased by the Rockdale County Hospital clergyman, Alex, who offered the following “life is imperfect, but in passing, we become perfect in that, biblically speaking, our lives are complete and fulfilled”. Many thanks to all doctors, nurses and others that helped Butch battle this disease and pass, with grace and respect, to a better place and join his loved ones.
