Get outside and let the fun fly with "Fur, Feathers and Friends" at the seventh annual Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival on August 24-25, at the Georgia International Horse Park.

This family friendly festival features wildlife exhibits, reptile shows, birds of prey, storytelling, living history, arts, crafts and more.

Meet Quasi, a vulture affectionately named after Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Quasi, a part of the Birds of Prey Show, was rescued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and was unable to be returned to the wild after being raised by humans.

Walk through the reptile wagon at the Southeastern Reptile Rescue display and hear about Jason Clark's wild reptile rescue adventures. Don't miss the Wildlife Wonders animal show and the high-flying action of the Georgia State Frisbee Dog Show. Take part in the Furry and Feathery Friends Scavenger Hunt to win a prize.

Guests can stop by the living history section and visit Sawgrass, who will demonstrate how Native Americans lived off the land, utilized various tools, and became skilled at survival methods while preserving the natural world around them for future generations.

William Barber from 94.9FM The Bull's Backyard Country and Southern Race Week will give away concert tickets Saturday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. to see Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley. The winner must be present to claim the prize.
