Golden Arches come down for renovation (January 4, 2011)
After three months of anticipation and renovations, the newly rebuilt McDonald's on West Avenue is now open for business.
The West Avenue branch of the franchise, which has been there since 1974, opened with a soft opening on Thursday and is offering 45 days of promotional treats and deals.
The former McDonald's building was torn down in January.
