All members of the public are invited to a special Veteran's Day ceremony and program at the Walk of Heroes Veterans Memorial at Black shoals Park, Monday, Nov. 11, 6 p.m.

The event will be a chance to enjoy, interact and participate in this year's tribute to honor our veterans, military and their families. There will be displays of military equipment, vehicles and soldiers starting at 5 p.m.

At 5:15 p.m., the Belmont Baptist Choir will give a patriotic concert.

The Veteran's Day Program starts at 6 p.m. with they keynote speaker, bag piper, Missing Man Table Ceremony and Candlelight Ceremony.

In the event of rain and/or extreme cold, the event will be held at 1400 Parker Road.
