Time to turn up the heat and contribute to a good cause this weekend with the Valentine's Dance fundraiser and Bachelor Auction on Friday, Feb. 13 at Cameron Hall.

The Rockdale-Newton Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. will host their major fundraiser for the 2015 to raise funds for their scholarship program and community initiatives.

The evening is jammed packed with entertainment, featuring emcees comedian Mzz Wallstreet and Rashad Richey (Real Talk with Rashad Richey-WAOK). There will be a Bachelor Silent Auction for the single ladies and a "Couples Cocktails & Conversation" game for the couples - a version of the Newlywed game. Lead singer Barbara Lomas (BJ) of B.T, Express, the singing group from the early eighties, will perform hits including "Do It Til You're Satisfied" and "Express." There will be spoken word as well as a DJ.

The cost for such a fun filled evening is $20 per person or $35 per couple and includes a light buffet, door prizes as well.
