Trash fire in back of Hobby Lobby

IN BRIEF:  A fire flared in the trash compactor at Hobby Lobby on Ga. Highway 138 around 2 p.m.but was quickly brought under control. The building structure was not burned and no one was injured, according to Rockdale Fire and Rescue spokesperson Michael Morris. Fans were set up to take some of the smoke out of the back inventory room and store. Employees reportedly noticed the fire in the trash compactor in the back around 2 p.m. after disposing of trash collected from trashcans in the front of the store. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within 10 minutes of arriving. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
