The National Weather Service out of Peachtree City has issued a tornado watch for counties through central and south Georgia, including Newton, Henry, Butts until 4 p.m.
A tornado warning has been issued for counties including Newton, Butts, Jasper, Greene and Oglethorpe until 10 a.m.
