The hit "Vampire Diaries" spinoff, "The Originals," is shooting in Olde Town Conyers Wednesday, with a few streets being closed during preparation and the evening-time shoots.

Preparation for the shoot, which is filming scenes for episode 207, started 8 a.m. Tuesday. Filming will take place Wednesday evening, about 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Clean up and taking down of the set will occur Thursday.

Railroad Street, near the Welcome Center/Depot, will be closed for preparation and during filming Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday, intermittent traffic control will occur on Railroad Street between 3 p.m. to midnight, on Commercial street between 7:30p.m. to 11 p.m., and Center Street between 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Stewart's Alley, between Commercial Street and Railroad Street, Carter's Alley with the installed arches, and parts of Center Street near Carter's Alley will be prepared for filming.

"We apologize for any inconvenience the short notice might cause," wrote organizers in a letter to local businesses. "If there are any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact a member of the Locations Department." The show's Olde Town office is located in the Black Cat, formerly Sadie's Antiques and Uniques and before that Tattersall's bookstore.

The show recently filmed scenes at the iconic Cafe du Monde in New Orleans

"The Originals" is currently shooting its second season, which will begin airing Oct. 6, 8 p.m. on The CW.
