The Magnolias debuts its new look
Magnolias
The Magnolia's staff celebrated its new look with an open house on April 30.
Members of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at The Magnolias assisted living home on Main Street.

The home, which was built in 1875, recently completed a 5-month renovation.
"I love it. It's uplifting," said Mary Barnes, the home's administrator. "The residences love the color. It's more joyful on the inside and they really do love it."

The home's makeover included new interiors decorations, new doors and a bold new color on the outside.

"We're not through yet," Barnes said. "We are doing a memorial garden between the buildings in the back and it should be ready in about a month."
