Rockdale County Tax Commissioner RJ Hadley wraps up his Tax Commissioner Talks Summer Series with “Welcome to Rockdale” on Tuesday, July 30, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at J.P. Carr Services Community Room, 981 Taylor St. in Conyers. 

This month’s Tax Commissioner Talk will provide tax-related information to new residents of the county and the professionals who serve them. Common property tax and motor vehicle issues will be covered, including property tax bills for new homeowners and vehicle registration when moving from a different county or state. 

Topic-specific Tax Commissioners Talks will resume next month with Tax Bill 101 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library, 864 Green St. in Conyers. 

“Tax Commissioner Talks” are held on the last Tuesday of every month and are open to the public.
