One of the three winning Powerball tickets worth $1 million from Wednesday's $448 million jackpot drawing was claimed Thursday.

The winner, Jennifer Pierce of McDonough, claimed her prize at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.

She purchased her Quik Pik ticket at Conyers Food Mart, 1400 Old Conyers Road in Stockbridge.

A routine coffee stop at the store Thursday morning led to her surprising discovery when she received the printed results from the drawing.

"I couldn't believe it. I called my daughter," said Pierce, 53. "My daughter looked it up on the computer and said, ‘It looks like $1 million!'"

Excited about her lottery win, the grandmother of three has no plans at the moment for her windfall.

"It hasn't sunk in yet," Pierce said.

Two additional winning tickets with $1 million prizes in Georgia were sold in Peachtree City and Pooler.

Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.

Winning numbers from Wednesday's Powerball drawing were: 5-25-30-58-59 and the Powerball was 32.

The jackpot for Saturday's drawing is an estimated $40 million to a single annuity winner.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Players can add the Power Play feature for an additional $1 per play to multiply non-jackpot prize winnings.

Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
